Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
Install and manage the daily configuration, monitoring, and operation of a FortiGate device to support enterprise network security policies.

Module 1 : Fortigate Security

The objective of this module is to understand Fortigate and UTM, log management and monitoring of devices and management of firewall rules without user authentication. The module will also aim to understand the implementation of an SSL VPN to allow remote access to the company network and an IPSec VPN. The module will also cover the management and configuration of antivirus, user authentication. Finally, it will cover the implementation of an explicit proxy and caching and the management of application control.

Module 2 : Fortigate Infrastructure

In this module, we will see the analysis of the Fortigate routing table, the implementation of virtualization, transparent mode, the distribution of traffic load on several operators (high availability) and the advanced configuration of an IPSec VPN. Then, it will focus on the implementation of intrusion prevention systems (IPS), the configuration of single sign-on (FSSO), the decryption of encrypted flows, the deployment of data leak prevention profiles (DLP), and the management of diagnostics. Finally, the module will cover the operation of hardware acceleration and IPv6 configuration.
