The CCNA program prepares you for positions as a junior network engineer, technical support representative or even a sales specialist in Computer Networking. The CCNA now includes security, automation and wireless. The certification program covers a wide range of fundamental principles for IT careers, validated by the international CCNA exam. You will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure and operate a small to medium-sized network.

Candidates will learn the role and function of network components such as: routers, L2 and L3 switches, next generation, firewalls and IPS, access points.
Candidates will learn how to configure and verify VLANs (normal range) spanning multiple switches, configure and verify Layer 2 discovery protocols (Cisco Discovery Protocol and LLDP), configure and verify VLANs (normal range) spanning multiple switches.
Candidates will learn how to interpret routing table components, determine how a router makes a default forwarding decision, and configure and verify IPv4 and IPv6 static routing.
Candidates will learn how to configure and verify internal NAT using statics and pools, configure and verify NTP working in client and server mode, explain the role of DHCP and DNS within the network.
Candidates will learn key security concepts (threats, vulnerabilities, exploits, and mitigation techniques), security program elements (user awareness, training, and physical access control), configuring device access control using local passwords, elements of security password policies, such as management, complexity, and password.
Candidates will understand how automation affects network management, traditional networks with controller-based and software-defined network architectures (overlay, underlay, and fabric).
